New Delhi: Just before the final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC Final 2023), Team India has suffered a major setback. Team's star batsman KL Rahul is out of this final. Rahul himself has given this information through social media posts. Let us inform that Team India has to play the final match of WTC from 7th June. This match will be played against Australia at The Oval in London. KL Rahul was handling the command of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) team in IPL 2023. During the tournament itself, LSG played against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Lucknow captain Rahul was injured while fielding in this match. After this, he was out of the ongoing season of IPL. Now he has made it clear that he will not be able to play even in the WTC final match. Giving information about this, KL Rahul has shared a post on Instagram. In this, he has written that after the injury, the medical team has advised him for right thigh surgery. In such a situation, due to this surgery, he will be away from cricket for a few weeks. His full focus will now be on rehab and returning to Team India after being fully fit.
