Talking about yesterday, it was a great day for Prosenjit as on this day his three films titled Rakhe Hari Mare Ke, Rokto Bandhan and Sneher Protidan completed 18 years. The film Rakhe Hari Mare Ke is directed by Ratan Adhikar, Rokto Bandhan by Joydeb Chakraborty and Sneher Protidan by Swapan Saha. His another film titled Jaatishwar directed by Srijit Mukherji also completed seven years yesterday. These movies performed well at the box office and become a super hit. The 'Dosar' actor said, "It is so heart-touching to see so many people went to watch films at the 26th Kolkata International Film Festival. It shows that the viewers love to watch good content and if they want, they can overcome the fear of the pandemic. So it is our duty to create good content so that the audience comes back to the theatre to watch films just like before." While talking about his films, Prosenjit said, “The movie Jaatishwar was highly-loved by all and it received four National Awards. It is a happy Sunday for me. I really want the golden days of Bengali films back.” He further added, "The film Rakhe Hari Mare Ke was all about an honest man who was falsely accused and jailed. On the other hand, film Sneher Protidan is the story of Mohan who loves his brothers a lot and tries to ensure they do well in life. All the brothers fall prey to a misunderstanding, which risks their bond."
