Yogi government changed the name of Naugarh railway station, this is a new name

Lucknow: The process of changing the names of cities and railway stations by the Yogi Adityanath government is continuing in UP. This time, the name of Naugarh railway station in Siddharthnagar district has been changed by CM Yogi to Siddharthnagar railway station. Public Relations Department officials have given information in this regard. Principal Secretary of Public Works Department Nitin Ramesh Gokarn said that the name of Naugarh railway station has now been changed to Siddharthnagar railway station.

At the same time, a notification has been issued by the Yogi government in this regard. Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath changed the name of Mughalsarai railway station to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Allahabad to Prayagraj. Now the name of Naugarh railway station has also been changed. Yogi Sarkar behind the change of name says that people had said that this station should be named after Siddharthnagar district. In view of which the government has taken this decision. The government said that people coming to Siddharth's land had to be confused because of the name of the railway station, hence the name of Naugarh has been changed to Siddharthnagar.

The government said that this decision has been taken respecting the sentiments of the people. Let me tell you that last month MP Jagdambika Pal said that the Home Ministry has given the approval to change the name of Naugarh railway station. With this, the process of changing the name has also started. After getting the green signal from the railway, the name of Siddharthnagar will be inscribed on the board.
