Lucknow: The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has issued an order regarding the health department. The order states about screening and retrenchment of employees above 50 years of age. It is said that a 4-member screening committee has now been set up and the Committee is going to screen the work of employees above 50 years of age on the basis of efficiency, honesty and physical efficiency. The process of retrenchment will be started after screening. However, the order has been issued by the Government last Tuesday. The order says that "The employees who are negligent about their work in the health department and those who slack in their work will be screened and retrenched." The Committee has been asked to submit its report soon. Further, the order states "A screening committee has been constituted for compulsory retirement to ensure service efficiency of the employees of clerical cadre working in subordinate offices and hospitals of the Department of Medical and Health. The Committee comprises of four members. The members will complete the screening of personnel above the age of 50 years of the Department of Medical and Health. Thereafter, the appointment authority will report". Additional Director (Administration) has been made chairman in the screening committee constituted for retrenchment. The Joint Director (Personnel), Joint Director (HQ) and senior accountants have been made members.
