Yogi's Remark!“It is not proper for a CM to compare two states”: Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan termed his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath's recent reported insulting remarks against the southern state as "wrong" and done with political motives on Tuesday.

In response to the recent incident in the state Assembly, he stated it is inappropriate for a Chief Minister to compare two states, and hence he will not delve into the details of the matter.

"Kerala is far ahead of the pack in a number of areas, and the state's progress is unrivalled. Only an incorrect remark made with political motives can be viewed as his "Vijayan told the state assembly.

Adityanath cautioned voters in a video message sent out before of the UP Assembly elections earlier this month that if they make any mistakes in the election, the north Indian state might quickly become a Kashmir, Bengal, or Kerala. Vijayan, who is also a senior CPI(M) politician, retorted to Adityanath by saying that if the north Indian state grows like Kerala, people will experience peace and improved living conditions.
