Twitter users will now be able to edit their tweets, but they have to do this

Twitter users have been demanding edit buttons for a long time. However, the feature was rejected by CEO Jack Dorsey, who said the app would never get an edit button. But Twitter launched the Undo button with its blue subscription, which more or less does the same thing. He now wants to know from Twitter's product head Kavyon Beykapur users if they will make payments for the edit button.

Even though Twitter is working on the edit button, it can be limited to paid subscribers only. Beykapur shared a poll on its personal handle asking users to get the option to edit tweets. He wrote, "@TwitterBlue lets you edit within a short time of posting a tweet, would you like to have a subscription? Tell me yes/no in reply!''

Subsequently, more than 68.4 percent of users have selected the "No" button, while only 31.6 percent have approved payments for the edit facility. Twitter may consider the feature, and Beykapur also indicated that the feature will allow users to edit a few minutes after posting tweets. Dorsey hinted in 2020 that Twitter can never get the edit button as it wants to preserve the original design of Twitter which was mainly an SMS, text messaging service.
