Cook Tasty Oats Idli in easy way !!!

Idli is a staple breakfast for most South Indians. Idli is actually famous all over India. This is a healthy and nutritious breakfast for all ages. In recent times, Oats is gaining popularity even in smalls towns. Oats make an easy and balanced morning breakfast.

 Here is a healthy nutritious recipe of Idli made with oats.

Ingredients:

½ Cup powdered oats

½ Cup Semolina/ Suji/ Rawa

½ Cup water

½ Teaspoon baking powder (optional)

1 Cup Curd

¼ mustard seeds

2 tablespoon oil

2-3 sprigs of curry leaves

Salt to taste

Instructions:

Combine all the ingredients with water to make a thick and smooth batter.

Keep the batter aside and let it rest for or 10 minutes.

Pour the batter into the molds in the idli stand and steam for 10-15 minutes.

Wait for some time after it is done. Then remove the idlis on to a plate and serve with coconut chutney and sambar.
