New Delhi [India], Dec 28 (NT): The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill 2017, which tries to find to criminalize the practice of triple talaq, has been tabled in the Lok Sabha in the winter Parliament session by Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday.

This law is for women's rights & justice & not regarding any prayer, ritual or religion said Law Minister Ravi Sankar Prasad in Lok Sabha over TripleTalaq Bill.

In a debate to pass the Triple Talaq Bill, he lauded strong comments which said-

“I thank Kharge ji for supporting the Govt on TripleTalaqBill, whatever proposition they have they should tell us here, if fine we can add in them in the law “ , Ravi Shankar Prasad,Law Minister in Lok Sabha appreciated opposition to support the bill
