AHMEDABAD:  IN the row of allegations to temper with EVM Aam Aadmi Party on Monday said that "EVMs have won and Gujarat has lost". AAP wanted to make out why the Election Commission wasn't geared up to count at least 25% of VVPAT slips if the EVMs used in the Assembly polls were not tampered with.

AAP, which was trying to find its place in Gujarat, fielded 33 nominees, all who defeated.

AAP representative Saurabh Bharadwaj raised questions that Hardik Patel's rallies were exceptionally packed. How can BJP win so easily in such a situation.

He recommended that The VVPAT slips should be counted and tallied with the results of the EVMs.

AAP leader claimed that EC's decision to count VVPAT slips from one booth in each assembly constituency was a ridiculous and did nothing to clear suspicions over the trustworthiness of EVMs.

"We are not Class V students. We know that VVPAT slips of those booths where EVM tampering did not take place would be counted by EC. Slips of VVPATs picked up from random booths should be tally," he asserted

Observing on AAP's performance, another party functionary asked: "How can the performance be good if the EVMs are tampered with?"
