telangana: According to Delhi Police sources, the fake video concerning Union Home Minister Amit Shah originated from an IP address in Telangana. The Delhi Police Cyber Cell team is currently investigating the case in Telangana and will interrogate the four individuals arrested by Telangana Police. These individuals, linked to the Telangana Congress IT cell, may be transported to Delhi on a transit remand for further questioning. The arrested individuals include Shiv Kumar, Assam Taslim, Satish Manne, and Naveen Pettem.

The Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of the special cell of the Delhi Police summoned some leaders from Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and the Northeast for questioning regarding the fake video, but none appeared on Thursday. The four members of the Telangana unit of the Congress party who were summoned for questioning on Wednesday did not attend. An officer involved in the investigation said they would be asked to appear again.

The special cell of the Delhi Police registered an FIR on Sunday after the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) filed a complaint about the manipulated video. The video altered Shah's statements about his commitment to abolish the Muslim quota in Telangana, making it seem as though he was advocating the removal of all reservations.
