New Delhi: The 10-day Bharat Bhagya Vidhata Festival is being organized at the Red Fort ground from today. In this, you will get to see the colours of the diversity of Hindustan. People will get to know the history, heritage, art and culture of the country. Along with this, the countrymen will also be able to enjoy many types of dishes under one roof. Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani will launch the programme.
The event will continue till April 3 as part of the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Union Ministry of Culture in association with Dalmia Bharat Limited has prepared the outline of the programme, in which renowned artists from the country will give their performances. The festival has been prepared from Khao Gali for food lovers to the Games Village for children. At the festival, visitors will be able to shop for craft products. However, tickets will have to be paid for entry into the festival.
Punit Dalmia, Managing Director, Dalmia Bharat Limited, said that the Red Fort Festival is a specially designed initiative for Bharat Bhagya Vidhata. We hope that through this, visitors will be immersed in cultural, festive and community heritage. He said that everyone who attends the event will take with them the unique and unforgettable experience that binds the country and the society.
