Kochi: The Kerala High Court has delivered an important verdict in the famous Kerala Temple Sabarimala Temple case. Now girls under the age of 10 have also been allowed to enter the Sabarimala temple with their father. The Kerala High Court in its order has said that girls below the age of 10 years can now accompany their father to visit the Sabarimala temple.

In fact, a 9-year-old girl had filed a petition in the court in the case urging her father to accompany her father to the Sabarimala temple on August 23. The lawyer representing the girl said she wanted to go to Sabarimala before she turned 10 as she would not be able to enter the temple for more than four decades.

On this, the High Court said, 'We are of the view that an interim order may be issued to allow the candidate to go to Sabarimala with his father for darshan on August 23.' Another similar verdict was given by the court in April this year stating that children can accompany vaccinated people in all activities.
