The Taliban have captured Kabul after US forces withdrew from Afghanistan. Now, the situation there is not good. At present, the people there want to leave the country. A large number of people have been seen at Kabul airport since yesterday. Meanwhile, everyone here is strongly condemning it. Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar have now joined the list. Both of them have also reacted to this issue. Javed Akhtar has recently hit out toward the US.

Shabana Azmi wrote in a tweet: "History teaches us that fanatics first attack culture under the guise of religion. Remember that #Taliban destroyed the 6th century Bamiyan. It was a sign that human cruelty would follow.'' On the other hand, Javed Akhtar tweeted and wrote, "What kind of superpower the US is that it couldn?t eradicate these barbarians called Taliban. What kind of world this world is that has left Afghan women to the lack of mercy of these fanatics. Shame on all those western countries who claim to be the saviours of human rights.''

Replying to a user's tweet, Javed Akhtar wrote, "Are you suggesting that injustice and cruelty to women are done to women elsewhere also, so the Taliban should not be opposed and condemned. What kind of logic is this?''

Apart from these two, Farhan Akhtar has also tweeted. In his tweet, he wrote: "The only thing the powers of the world need to talking about right now is how to help innocent Afghans. Not in days and time to come. NOW.''
