Big news: 11 CISF soldiers found corona positive posted at Airport

Mumbai: 11 CISF personnel stationed at Mumbai airport, known as the country's financial capital, have been found corona infected. A local official of the Municipal Corporation has given information in this regard on Friday. The official has said that it is suspected that these soldiers may have been caught in the virus during their deployment at Mumbai airport. At present, all the soldiers are being hospitalized and treated.

He said that on Friday, the first five soldiers were found to be corona positive, followed by six soldiers infected with the virus. A total of 14 cases of infection with Coronavirus have been reported in Panvel under Navi Mumbai. The CISF-infected personnel were stationed at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. The total number of cases in the state has increased to 490 after the confirmation of 67 more people getting infected with Coronavirus on Friday.

Of these 67 new patients, 43 have come from Mumbai, while 10 cases have been reported from Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Nine cases have been registered from Pune and three from Ahmednagar district.
