A major shocking report came from Telangana, here it is to be noted that a total of 11 patients died of Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at an isolation centre at SCCL’s area hospital in Bellampalli in the past two days.
Here it is to be noted that Dr Anil, in-charge of the isolation centre, said that eight patients succumbed to the virus between 8 am on Wednesday and 8 am on Thursday, while three more died later in the day. He said “The patients, who were undergoing treatment in private hospitals and whose condition was critical and could not be treated, were rushed to the centre. They breathed their last here,”. The in-charge said most of the patients did not survive beyond three hours at the centre. “They were admitted to the facility when they were in serious condition,” he said.
However, here it is to be noted that Bellampalli MLA Durgam Chinnaiah pleaded with the residents of Bellampalli Assembly constituency not to panic over rumours being spread on social media platforms about the death toll. He assured that steps were being taken to provide the best medical services to patients at the isolation centre with the help of SCCL officials.
