Mumbai: Corona continues to wreak havoc in Maharashtra. In the province, the corona is hunting the police force along with the common man. In the last 24 hours, 112 new Maharashtra Police personnel have been found corona positive and two soldiers have died due to this infection. The total number of policemen in the state has now increased to 12,495, out of which 10,111 soldiers have been recovered. While 2,256 infected soldiers are undergoing treatment at various Covid hospitals. So far 128 infected policemen have been killed in the state.

8,493 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra on Monday. 228 patients were reported dead and 11,391 patients were discharged from hospital after recovering. According to the information received from the health department, the total number of infected patients in the state has reached 6,04,358, out of which 4,28,514 patients have been recovered, while 20,265 have died. The number of active patients in the state is reported to be 1,55,268.

753 new cases were reported in the country's financial capital Mumbai and 40 infected people died. According to information received from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the total number of infected in Mumbai has reached 1,29,479, out of which 1,04,301 patients have gone home from the hospital after treatment. 17,707 patients are active while 7,170 infected have died due to this epidemic.
