On October 7th, TVS Motor Company is launching its new 125cc scooter to the Indian market (Thursday). While the company has yet to disclose the name of its next product, prior spy images hint it will be the Jupiter 125 scooter.

The scooter was also teased by the Hosur-based automaker a few days ago. The teaser image depicts LED DRLs that may be mounted on the two-front wheeler's apron. The company hasn't released any technical specifics about the new two-wheeler, but the scooter is expected to use the same engine and platform as the current NTorq 125. Also, the company might give its bigger Jupiter a new mechanical setup but details are not official yet.

The Jupiter 125 will be launched with the goal of strengthening the company's position in the 125cc category, which is growing prominence in the nation. TVS Motor recently announced the launch of its new Raider 125 motorbike in India, which is another product demonstrating the company's commitment to the category.

Needless to say, the company will almost certainly provide the new Jupiter 125 with a myriad of features to make it more competitive with rivals in the sector. The next features' details are likewise kept under wraps. The Honda Activa 125 and the Suzuki Access 125 will be direct competitors for the Jupiter 125 in 2021. When launched, it is likely to be placed in the bracket of ₹75,000 to ₹81,000 (ex-showroom).
