Panaji: The crisis of oxygen shortage is still persisting amid the second wave of corona virus in the country. The lack of oxygen at Goa Medical College in Goa has once again led to the death of people. At Goa Medical College Hospital, 13 people lost their lives from 2 pm to 6 am last night. The death is said to have been caused by a lack of oxygen levels.

Many patients have died due to lack of oxygen in the recent past in this hospital, which exposes the negligence of the administration. In Goa, patients have been dying due to oxygen shortage for the past several days. 26 on Tuesday, 20 on Wednesday, 15 on Thursday and now 13 on Friday have been reported dead. While the death in The Covid ward is causing hospital distress, officials here say it was due to logistics problems.

The Goa government has now constituted a committee on oxygen supply in the medical college. This includes bk mishra of IIT, former dean of GMC VN Jinder and Tariq Thomas.
