Kolkata: Fog in West Bengal caused a tragic road accident in Dhupguri town of Jalpaiguri district late Tuesday night. 13 people and several others injured in the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. It is reported that a dumper was going through Maynatali in Dhupguri, Jalpaiguri late Tuesday night.

In the meantime, due to low visibility, the dumper hit several vehicles. After the incident, the dumper overturned and 13 people lost their lives due to this accident. While more than 18 people were injured, who are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police and relief teams were sent to the spot after the incident was reported. It is feared that the death toll in the incident may still increase.

According to police sources, the victims of the incident were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony. Police have admitted all those injured in the incident to the hospital. Initially, it is feared that the incident occurred due to fog. However, the police is engaged in the scrutiny of the case in all aspects.
