In Jhansi, UP, a bunch of hair weighing about 250 grams has come out from the stomach of a 13 year old girl. The doctors performed an operation and took it out from the girl's stomach. It is being told that the girl used to eat the hair on her head for many years. Gradually all this started accumulating in his stomach. As the pain increased, the family took him to the doctor. Where after examination, even the doctors of Rani Lakshmibai Medical College were stunned to see a bunch of hair in the girl's stomach.  

Reports say that the girl is a resident of Belatal in Mahoba district. Her name is Anjana Vishwakarma and her age is about 13 years. His father does welding work, while his mother is a housewife. 

A few days ago, Anjana's parents approached senior surgeon Dr. Pankaj Sonkia at the Pediatrics Ministry of Medical College, Jhansi, complaining of stomach ache and loss of appetite. The family members say that the girl has constant stomach ache and she does not feel hungry the whole day. The doctor did many tests on the girl and also got an ultrasound done. 

During this time it was revealed that a big lump appeared in the girl's stomach. To remove the lump, Dr. Pankaj Sonkia along with his colleague Dr. Ankit Singh operated on Anjana. He was stunned at what he saw during the operation. A bunch of hair weighing about 200 to 250 grams came out from the girl's stomach. 

Doctor who performed the operation: Regarding this, the girl's maternal grandfather Chintamani Vishwakarma says that a fair was organized in Belataal. The girl ate something wrong there. While coming back, I started vomiting. On which she was shown to the hospital, from where the doctor sent the girl to Jhansi Medical College. After coming here it was found that there was a tuft of hair in his stomach. At present, the girl is absolutely fine after the operation. 

Meanwhile, senior surgeon Dr. Pankaj Sonkia has said that this girl came to me 2 days ago. When the test was done, it was found that there was a blockage in the intestine. Then I felt a lump in my stomach. Finally a bunch of hair was found from the stomach. This came to light after the operation. 
 
Regarding which Dr. Ankit Singh has informed that the disease of hair eating is called trichophilia. Children become mentally weak and keep breaking their hair. Due to which it appears that the hair on one part of the head gradually reduces. By eating hair, they get accumulated in the body and are not digested. In this the child loses appetite and starts vomiting. Whatever he eats will come out. Parents should take care of such children. They should get timely treatment.
