Jyoti, who reached Darbhanga from Gurugram on a bicycle, will be given the opportunity of a trial by the Cycling Federation of India (CFI). CFI director VN Singh has said that Jyoti, who arrived at Darbhanga in Bihar from Gurugram on a bicycle, has been given the ability to test her, amid a nationwide lockdown caused by the coronavirus. If she meets the standards of CFI a little, then she will also be provided with special training and coaching.

In the lockdown, Jyoti took her father Mohan Paswan on a bicycle and travelled a distance of more than one thousand km in eight days from Gurugram to Darbhanga in Bihar. Jyoti has cycled 100 to 150 km daily. In this regard, VN Singh said that the federation is always looking for talented players and if Jyoti has the ability then she will be fully helped. Asked about giving Jyoti a chance for a trial after the lockdown, she said, "I spoke to them and told them that whenever the opportunity comes after the lockdown is over, she will come to Delhi. Will take a little test. We have a Watbike which is a stationary bike."

The child is seated on this and tested for four to five minutes. This shows how much ability the player and his feet have. If she has cycled so far, then she definitely has potential.
