With the 165 new cases of corona virus in Ladakh, the number of infected people has gone up to 18,662. A total of 189 people have died so far after another person died of infection. Officials said on Monday that 105 more people were discharged from hospitals after recovering. So far, 16,859 people have overcome the infection in the Union Territory.

It has been learnt that one person has lost his life in Kargil due to infection. With this new figure, 136 people have lost their lives in Leh and 53 in Kargil so far. Officials said 94 people from Leh and 11 from Kargil were discharged from hospitals after recovering. Ladakh currently has 1614 undertreaty patients. Out of which 1395 in leh district and 219 in Kargil district are undergoing treatment.

Deputy Governor One review meeting: According to the information received, to completely control the corona cases, Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur asked the administration to monitor those who do not follow the rules. He said the administration should ensure that people in rural areas follow corona rules and not gather at one place. On the other hand, a review meeting on the present status of corona virus has been held by Lieutenant Governor One on Monday. The meeting directed the police to increase their patrolling, especially in rural areas. The virus can be prevented from spreading only after following the covid rules.

The number of patients recovering in 24 hours is again above 2.5 lakh: We give that 1,27,510 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours across the country while 2,795 patients have lost their lives in the meantime. On the other hand, the number of patients recovering in the last 24 hours was again above 2.5 lakh. A total of 34,67,92,257 samples have been tested in India so far to check covid infection. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 19,25,374 samples were tested across the country on Monday.
