17 Gujarat High Court employees tested corona positive, court issues circular

17 employees in Gujarat High Court are agitated after being found corona positive. As soon as the report is received, the High Court has issued a circular saying that for the next three days i.e. till 15,16 and 17 July, only immediate petitions will be heard by video conferencing. Apart from this, all other cases will be listed.

The High Court has stated in the circular that the petitions filed during and after the lockdown, if necessary, will be listed for hearing only. The Chief Justice of the High Court has ordered that if the lawyers have sought an immediate hearing on their application, those petitions will be listed for hearing in four to five days. Pending applications will not run at the moment.

On July 7, the Corona investigation report of seven High Court employees was found positive. Thereafter, the High Court was closed for three days on 8, 9 and 10 July. In the meantime, 10 more new cases came to the corona when other court employees were tested. The total number of infected people has been 17 so far.
