Google pays special attention to security and privacy to its consumer and that is why the company regularly removes the malicious apps from the Play store. Tech giant Google has once again done the same. Google has deleted a total of 17 apps infected with Joker malware from the Google Play store. All these apps can become a crisis for consumer safety.
The same Zscaler security researcher Viral Gandhi has shared information about these 17 apps through his blog. On Joker malware, researcher says it somehow takes the way to be present on the Play store, while the company is always monitoring it. According to the same report, all these 17 apps can be used for SMS, contact, device information and premium wireless app protocol means signup for WAP.
