London: As many as 180 British Indian and Hindu organisations and temple authorities have written to British Prime Minister Liz Truss regarding the Anti-Hindu Violence in Leicester, UK. In this letter, it has been demanded that the situation of Hindus living there and the Leicester violence be investigated impartially as well as compensation to the victims. In a letter to British Prime Minister Liz Truss, Hindu organizations have said that Hindus are being targeted and attacked here. So, Hindus are very scared. The letter said, ''We would like to draw your attention to the recent violence in Birmingham, Leicester Anti Hindu Violence and other cities in the past. The Indian and Hindu communities have been greatly harassed in the violence that broke out in these places. The hatred towards the Hindu community is at its peak in these violence-prone areas.''

Describing the attacks on Hindus, it has been said in this letter that, 'Anytime any person belonging to any Hindu community is physically attacked, harassed on social media, targeting them in schools and offices, constantly threatening them and their Abuse is at its peak. There has been open violence, threats and abuse through physical attacks on Hindus, harassment on social media and soft targeting in schools, and workplaces. In a letter to the British PM, it has also been said that Hindus in Britain are less than two per cent of the total population, yet their contribution is very high in terms of socio-economic and social integration in the British economy. It has been told that it is clear from the prison statistics that the Hindu community is the most law-abiding community here. Yet, today Hindus are forced to live as a community that is in peril.

In this letter, drawing attention to the anti-Hindu violence in Leicester and other places including Leicester Anti Hindu Violence, it has been said, 'You will see the violence in Leicester and aggressive protest outside a temple in Birmingham as well as Hindus in Nottingham. One must be aware of the vicious attempts to harass the community outside the iconic Sanatan Temple in London at Wembley. However, there are several reasons for what happened to Lester. But you should know that the Hindu community is in danger here.'

In addition, there are 6 demands in this letter to Liz Truss. In this, first of all, there has been a demand for an active investigation by the police into the violence against Hindus. At the same time, as a second demand, there has been a demand for financial help to the riot victims. The third demand calls for an impartial inquiry into anti-Hindu hatred and its causes. The fourth demand in the letter to the British PM calls for the government to identify places where radicalism has become dominant. Hindu organizations have also demanded funds for training teachers to test anti-Hindu activities. At the same time, the sixth and last demand is related to giving adequate security to Hindus during Diwali.
