Amritsar: Today the Government of Pakistan released two Indian prisoners who have completed their sentence and have reached India via the Attari-Wagah border, who entered Pakistan's border by mistake and were caught by the police. Have reached India today. Speaking on the occasion, Attari Wagah Border Protocol Officer Arun Mahal said that today two Indian prisoners were released by Pakistan who had entered Pakistan's territory by mistake.

They have been released today by the Government of Pakistan and sent from the Attari Wagah border, one of them has told his name as Raju, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, who was sentenced to 5 to 6 years by the Government of Pakistan and returned to India today after completing the sentence. He said that the name of the other one is J Gameraram, a resident of the Barmer district of Rajasthan, who has reached his native India today after completing 27 months of his sentence. The protocol officer told that Gameraram says that he had crossed the border to Pakistan by mistake. Today he has returned to his homeland after being released by the Government of Pakistan. He said that on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, he would be kept at the Red Cross building in Amritsar today.

His relatives will reach Amritsar tomorrow and he will be handed over. Discussing this occasion, Gameraram, one of the Indian prisoners who came from Pakistan, said that he had a love affair with a girl and they had a rift over something, he got angry and crossed the Indian border to Pakistan and was arrested by the Karachi police and sent to Karachi Jail. He was sentenced to 27 months and today he has returned to his country after completing his sentence. He said that there are about 700 Indians in the Karachi jail of Pakistan. He appeals to the Central Government to get them released as soon as possible. He said that his age is about 21 years. He has returned to his country safely and he is very happy. The second person Raju told that he had also crossed the wire by mistake, so he was sentenced to 6 years and today he has returned to his country.
