New Delhi, December 17: Komal, a short video creator has become the 4th influencer after Naina ji, Artist Sharleen, Pooja Sharma, to gain 2 million followers on VMate – a trending short video app.

Komal joined VMate in 2018 on a friend’s suggestion. Her meteoric rise to fame and breaking into the 2 million fans club can be attributed to her dancing talent. Videos featuring Komal grooving to peppy Bhojpuri songs are a hit among her followers. She recently has been invited to VMate Creators meetup event in Bihar where she not only enthralled the audience with her scintillating performance but also fielded media queries with the ease and grace of a star. Before becoming a full-time video creator on VMate, she was a homemaker with limited income. Originally hailing from Bihar, she is settled with her family in New Delhi.

Expressing her happiness Komal said, “I dedicate this milestone to my followers whose consistent appreciation has inspired me to follow my dreams. I thank VMate for providing a great platform to showcase my talent. Not only has it helped me engage positively with my audience but has also become a steady source of income. I earn between Rs 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh per month through VMate, which has enabled me to fulfill my dream of having my own house and providing for my family with a comfortable life.”

Ms. Nisha Pokhriyal, Associate Director, VMate, said,” We applaud Komal for this achievement. It gives us immense pleasure to see her gain personal happiness and financial independence through VMate. We are constantly working at enhancing the app features so as to provide our users with seamless entertainment. We also look forward to helping more users to create success stories such as Komal’s and make their dreams come to reality.”

VMate has become a phenomenon among the youth of India across the country for introducing exciting festive campaigns which allows them to win bumper prizes i.e. car, scooty, smartphones, and more. Recently, VMate had concluded their association with Nach Baliye, India's biggest reality show, for its season 9 and many VMate users participated in thrill-induced challenges to win cash prizes up to INR 1 crore. Some of the lucky creators also received an opportunity to meet their favourite celebrity jodi. Many VMate creators, who are common people, are earning money via VMate videos and transforming their lives by achieving their dreams.
