New Delhi: India is facing a severe crisis of corona epidemic. The country is facing shortage of oxygen to ventilators due to increasing cases of corona. In times of such a crisis, russia, its oldest partner, has once again come forward to help India. Two Russian aircraft carrying medicines, ventilators and oxygen concentraters have arrived at Delhi airport to help India. This has been informed by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC).

According to media reports, CBIC reported that two aircraft from Russia have reached Delhi airport this morning, including 20 oxygen concentraters, 75 ventilators, 150 bedside medical monitors, 22 million tonnes of medicines. Air cargo and Delhi Customs staff are working on its clearance. Two aircraft from Russia with humanitarian assistance to India left on April 28.

Both the aircraft left Jukovsky Airport near Moscow at night. An airport spokesperson said, the first aircraft took off at Panj at local time while the second flight left for India around 8 pm. Russia had already committed to provide more than 22 tonnes of covid-19 preventive equipment and medicines to India.
