Japan's leading vehicle manufacturer 2020 Nissan Kicks has now been updated with more powerful engines in its segment. The company has given a new Nissan turbo engine in it which was introduced in the Renault Duster during the 2020 Auto Expo. The new Kicks have become more powerful and the company has added a new X-tronic CVT automatic gearbox to it. For your information, let us tell you that the HR13 DDT 1.3L four-cylinder, turbo-charged petrol engine found in the new Nissan Kicks will generate 154 bhp power and 254 Nm torque. The company has also used cylinder coating technology in this engine which is derived from the Nissan GT-R engine. Due to this technology, the engine gives better performance as well as better mileage. The engine will come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission along with an X-tronic CVT gearbox, which will be optional with an 8-step manual mode. It gives better acceleration response with 40 percent less friction and more mileage.
Apart from this, the company has not only updated the engine of the new Nissan Kicks, but now it has also included better features from the base variant. As standard features, Nissan Kicks now include smart watch connectivity with Nissan Connect, rear AC vent with auto AC, cooled glove box, unique twin parcel shelf of Nissan, dual airbags, ABD + EBD, brake assist feature and electrically adjustable wing. Mirrors, impact sensing auto door unlock, speed sensing auto door unlock and shark fin antennas have been given. The company has 6 monotone color options - Blade Silver, Night Shade, Bronze Gray, Fire Red, Pearl White, Deep Blue Pearl and three dual-tone color options - Amber Orange with Bronze Gray, Onyx Black and Pearl White with Fire Red With Onix Black is included.
