New Delhi: People are curious about the eclipse in the solar system. Everyone wants to see this astronomical event. There are also different beliefs about the eclipse in all countries of the world, including India. The eclipse of the moon in India is considered inauspicious. Therefore, many manglik activities are prohibited during this period. Today, 26th May, the first lunar eclipse of the year 2021 is going to take place.  This lunar eclipse will be a super blood moon. This means that it will be giant in size and will look red-orange in colour.

The lunar eclipse will begin at 2.18 pm and end at 7.19 pm. The eclipse will take place in Scorpio and Anuradha Nakshatra. The total duration of the eclipse will be 5 hours. The eclipse, including India, can be seen in many parts of Southeast Asia, Australia, Oceania, Alaska, Canada and South America. Due to the lunar eclipse in India, its dry period will not be valid.

The lunar eclipse always takes place on the full moon day. But there is no lunar eclipse on every full moon day. It seems to be in certain circumstances. According to astronomers, lunar eclipse is a common phenomenon, as all planets in the solar system revolve around the sun and satellites around their planet. When the moon revolves around the earth and the earth around the sun, the sun, the earth and the moon come together, causing the earth's shadow to fall on the moon. Then there is a lunar eclipse in this situation.
