New Delhi:The Grand Highlander has been unveiled by Toyota, a Japanese automobile manufacturer, for the 2024 global market. On February 11 at the upcoming 2023 Chicago Auto Show, the company will unveil the rugged vehicle to the general public.

The full-size, three-row SUV is available in three trim levels and sits between the Highlander and Sequoia models in the US.

The 2024 Grand Highlander was hinted at by Toyota last December. The full-size SUV is now formally unveiled by the automaker as a posh replacement for the Highlander mid-size model. With a wide selection of SUVs and MPVs, the company currently holds a dominant position in the US market.

It seeks to increase the hybrid offerings it offers in the SUV market with the new model.

The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander features a long and sculpted hood, sleek LED headlights with DRLs, a large chromed grille, skid plates, and a wide air dam. It adheres to the brand's new design philosophy. ORVMs, silvered roof rails, squared-off wheel arches, and stylish 20-inch alloy wheels surround the SUV on the sides. At the back, wraparound LED taillamps are an option.

Toyota hasn't disclosed the output specifications for the Grand Highlander's powertrains as of 2024. A 2.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine, and the cutting-edge 2.4-liter "Hybrid Max" engine from the Crown sedan with 362hp/542Nm will all be available for the SUV.

The luxurious interior of the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander has seven seats, an all-black dashboard, premium leather upholstery, an 11-speaker JBL audio system, a head-up display, multi-zone climate control with rear AC vents, a panoramic sunroof, and a multifunctional steering wheel. A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system is included with the SUV. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 ADAS suite protects passengers.

The automaker has yet to reveal the Grand Highlander's pricing and availability information for 2024. In the US market, the SUV is available in three trim levels: XLE, Limited, and Platinum.
