New Delhi:  This March, the next-generation Hyundai VERNA will begin production in India. Every year, the company intends to produce 70,000 units, the majority of which will be exported. The car will have an updated exterior and a roomy interior with ADAS features. It will be sold only as a gasoline-powered model. So what features will the new sedan have? Here is what we currently know.

Instead of just giving the new VERNA a facelift, Hyundai is completely redesigning it. The vehicle, which will serve both domestic and international markets, is anticipated to attract a sizable number of buyers. The sedan will compete with models like the SKODA SLAVIA, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Volkswagen Virtus in our nation.

The new Hyundai VERNA will have a tapered roof, a long bonnet, and a wide grille that will blend with the sleek headlights, giving it an ELANTRA-inspired appearance. It will have dual-tone alloy wheels, chromed elements on the C-pillars, and ORVMs on the sides. On the back, there should be a wrap-around LED taillamp and a windscreen with a rake.

A new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine are expected to power the upcoming Hyundai VERNA. As a result of the soon-to-be-implemented RDE emission norms, no diesel engines will be available.

A roomy 5-seater interior with automatic climate control, USB ports, keyless entry, rear AC vents, and a multifunctional steering wheel are anticipated for the 2023 Hyundai VERNA. It ought to have a dual-screen infotainment system with the newest connectivity features, similar to the IONIQ 5. There will be numerous airbags and ADAS features to protect the passengers.
