Maharashtra: Recently big news has come for the daily commuters of Mumbai. Indeed, in view of the convenient journey of passengers from today, Friday, 204 additional trains are going to be started by the Railways. However, the railway authorities have also clearly stated that the benefit of these trains will be given only to those passengers who are allowed to travel by local trains under the old instructions.

The local trains have not yet to open for all. In a joint statement issued yesterday by Central Railway and Western Railway, it has been said that "With the addition of additional trains from today, the total number of services running on the suburban network will increase to 2,985". Apart from this, let us also tell you that till now the number of these trains was 2,781. The Central Railway suburban services will be extended from the current 1,580 to 1,685 services and the Western Railway will be extended from the existing 1,201 suburban services to 1,300 services.

However, at present, the corona vaccination campaign is going on across the country, and under this, only health workers are being vaccinated in present time. This class is also already included in special passengers who are allowed to travel locally, so they can travel on local trains.
