204 inmates test corona positive in a jail in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: The outbreak of corona in Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand is on the rise every day. Where the inmates in Sitarganj jail in the district have not stopped getting infected. So far, 204 prisoners have been infected with the coronavirus.  According to a late night notice, underworld don PP Pandey, who is serving life imprisonment in Sitarganj jail tested corona positive. Don PP Pandey has been admitted to the Covid 19 Care Centre amidst tight security.

In fact, many prisoners of Sitarganj Central Jail have been found corona positive. The ever-growing coronavirus infection in Sitarganj has caused panic. The rapidly spreading coronavirus infection among Central Jail inmates has raised concerns about prison administration. All infected prisoners have been shifted to Rudrapur. So far, 204 prisoners have succumbed to coronavirus.

There are 114 sitarganj in the list of corona infections released on Wednesday evening. Cms doctor Rajesh Arya informed that 150 prisoners were sampled on September 19. It has 95 inmates found corona positive. In addition, one person from Baruabagh, five from Shakti Farm, five in Nankatta, four from Sitarganj, one from Ukrauli, one from Lamakhera, one from Sidkul, coronavirus has been found infected.
