Kolkata: Actor-turned-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mithun Chakraborty has made a big claim today i.e. on Saturday (September 24). Mithun has said that 21 Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLAs are in touch with the BJP. At an organisational meeting at the BJP office in Hastings on Saturday, BJP national executive committee member Mithun Chakraborty started a direct organisational discussion with the leadership of three districts of Kolkata.
During this, Mithun Chakraborty said that there is no place to be disappointed, the fight will continue. He said that 21 TMC MLAs are in touch with the BJP. His claim has created a stir in Bengal politics. Party workers claimed in the meeting with Mithun that after being politically active before the panchayat elections, they are now facing some problems within the organization. Earlier, Mithun Chakraborty had claimed that 38 TMC MLAs were in touch with him.
Mithun Chakraborty said that if there is a problem with coordination, then there may be a problem in the fight of the ruling party in the coming days. He suggested immediate adjustments. Several BJP workers have appealed to Mithun Chakraborty to stand with the families of the workers killed and injured in the Nabanna campaign recently. To this, Mithun said he would consider the matter after the puja.
