CHITRADURGA: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today,  September 24, accused the opposition Congress party of playing "dirty politics" with regard its PayCM campaign in the state.

If there is ever an issue, it should be brought up openly. They must provide documentation, and it must be looked at. He claimed that the fact that they arrive at the session with nothing on their minds demonstrates their moral depravity. 
He claimed that "this campaign is being undertaken without any morals and mudslinging scheme." "The leaders of the Congress believe they can gain power by engaging in unethical behaviour. In Karnataka, it is impossible to do this. The government would file a lawsuit in this case, "The CM Bommai said.

In response to the Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar's allegation that the Lingayat Chief Minister is being targeted, he said he would prefer not to comment on the matter.

When questioned about pre-election polls that predicted the ruling BJP would only win 95 to 100 assembly seats, far short of a majority, CM Bommai said that every election will produce a different result. 

"We have 30 to 35 years of political experience. The pulse of the populace is palpable. BJP will win the election this time, "said CM Bommai. He insisted that if the high command approved it, the state cabinet increase would be implemented. He said that the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the state police department had been behind the raids on  Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leaders.
