A shocking incident of the gruesome killing of a 22-year-old by her own family members comes to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpiri . As per the information the girl was reportedly killed by her family members for having an affair. The girl was strangled to death by her father and three brothers. This is not it after killing the girl they buried her in their neighbor’s house.

The deceased has been identified as Jyoti Yadav. She had an affair with a 23-year-old guy named Karan Singh. The girl’s family did not approve of their relationship. Singh is a resident of Nagla Hari Singh. The girl was living with her family and her father and brothers are farmers. The police official told "The relationship wasn't approved by the family who had fixed her marriage with a man of their choice which was scheduled for February this year. However, she refused to go ahead with the wedding. Upset with their daughter's defiance, the family killed her," .

The gruesome killing comes to light when a local reportedly saw the girl's family bury her body. He then informed the police. The police exhumed the body and sent it for postmortem. As of now the police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including sections 302 and 201. After the murder, the girl's family is currently absconding. A search operation has been launched to nab all the accused family members. As of now Police are looking into the matter and further investigation is going on in the case.
