In Bihar, the second wave of covid has slowed down. After 23 days, there has been a major decline in the infected. In the last 24 hours, 1491 new cases were reported in the state. This has reached 7.04 lakh. More importantly, out of 38 districts in the State, less than 10 new covid infected patients have been found in 6 districts. The death toll due to death of 48 new people has reached 5,052.
Recovery rate reaches 96.29 percent: It has been revealed that more than 600 people have lost their lives in the state in the last one week, but the death toll for the past few days was close to 100 and the death toll on Saturday has reached double digits. The recovery rate in the state has reached 96.29 per cent. The impact of lockdown in the state is looking positive. The Government has to say that there has been a lot of control over covid infection due to lockdown. The State Government is considering to increase the lockdown.
Immunization drive successful in the state: More than 1.03 crore people have been vaccinated in the state with a total population of 13 crore. The vaccination drive is going on successfully in Bihar as compared to other States of the country. Especially those in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated. A large number of people have been vaccinated. Black Fungus raises concerns: While the covid epidemic in the state may have subsided, the number of black fungus and white fungus patients is on the rise. However, the government has directed all hospitals in the state to treat black fungus. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said black fungus patients are growing rapidly in the state. In such a situation, all hospitals should arrange for their treatment.
