The number of active COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh has risen to 127 after 26 new persons tested positive for the infection in the previous 24 hours, including two returnees from Bihar and Assam, and two patients recovered from the sickness, according to a Health Department official.
The new infections bring the total to 55,462, according to State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa. So far, a total of 55,053 people have recovered from the disease.
He said the death toll remained at 282 since no new infection-related fatalities had been reported in the last 24 hours.
