Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, 5 people of the same family were killed and 4 people of a Dalit family in Gohri were killed by the absconding miscreants in Phaphamau in the early hours of Wednesday. The miscreants opened fire on the police team. In retaliatory firing by the police and the crime branch, three miscreants were injured due to bullet injuries.
All three miscreants have been shot in the leg. Illegal pistol pistol was recovered from them. The police have admitted the injured to the hospital. Similarly, on 23 April 2022, 5 people of the same family were found dead in the room in Shivrajpur village under Tharvari. The cattle trader's wife, daughter, daughter-in-law and one-year-old granddaughter were killed. In both the cases, the clothes of the women were found in disarray, prompting villagers to allege murder followed by rape.
