Visakhapatnam: Chemical gas has leaked in the LG polymer industry in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Three people including a child died tragically in this accident while 120 people are admitted to the hospital. State CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has rushed to the hospital to meet the sick. The sensation has spread after this incident in RR Venkatapuram village on Thursday morning. Five villages located around the company have been evacuated.

The District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) has said that three people, including a child, have died due to gas leaks in the company. People are being taken to the hospital after complaining of eye irritation and breathing problems. Police, fire brigade, ambulances have reached the spot.

CP RK Meena of Visakhapatnam said that the gas has been neutralized. The NDRF team has reached the spot. The maximum effect was about one and a half km, but its smell was about two and a half km. 100 to 120 people have been admitted to the hospital. A total of three people have died in the incident. An FIR has been registered.
