In a shocking incident from Patna, three sisters of the same family were drowned in a pond on Wednesday at Tungi village in Deepnagar police station in Biharsharif. According to the information received in this case, the deceased names are Priya, Damini, and Pooja.
The trio went to take a bath in the pond and in the meantime Priya went into deep water, watching her drown, Pooja, Damini and another girl tried to save her, but Priya was drowned by all the girls. As soon as they arrived, the four girls were rescued, but by then the three sisters had died.
There are reports that a girl has been evacuated safely and according to CO, a cheque of four lakh rupees has been given to the next of kin of the deceased. This case cannot be termed as the first such case as there was also a case of the drowning of three friends before, which was shocking.
