Mumbai: A major incident is coming out of Maharashtra, where the call informing the Mumbai Police about the arrival of three terrorists linked to Pakistan in the metropolis turned out to be fake. Officers gave this news on Saturday. He said that the police have increased surveillance and questioned a person from Beed District, but the caller is yet to be traced. In this connection, an officer said that a call was received in the main control room of the police on April 7 at 12.05 p.m. The caller identified himself as Raja Thonge and said he was calling from Pune.

The officer said that the caller told the police that three terrorists belonging to Pakistan had entered Mumbai from Dubai on Friday morning. The caller told the police that the three terrorists were involved in illegal activities, he said. He also provided the registration number of the vehicle being used by him. The officer said, 'Police increased surveillance after receiving the call. In addition to the teams of the local police, the crime branch was also pressed into the investigation.

Meanwhile, the officer said that the caller had switched off his mobile phone and that the number from which the call was received was registered in the name of a person from Ashti in Beed district. He said that when a police team went to Ashti and questioned the man, he claimed that the number from which the call was received was not his. He doesn't know about any terrorists. The officer said, 'After investigation, nothing suspicious was found, and the call was declared fake.' On the other hand, 12 people were arrested while 13 women were set free in a raid on a bar in Mumbai's Santacruz area on Friday. According to a police officer, based on a tip-off, the police raided a bar in the Gajadhar Dam area of suburban Mumbai in the early hours of Saturday. He said that the owner of the bar, two employees, and nine customers were arrested by the police at the Maharashtra Hotel.
