Dehradun: Corona virus has been confirmed among 30 soldiers of a Bsf (BSF) battalion who arrived from Rajasthan to complete the Uttarakhand assembly elections. Three days ago, a battalion of BSF reached Kotdwar. The battalion consists of 84 jawans. The battalion has been stopped at Government Inter College Kalalghati under Bhabar area. The health department team conducted corona antigen test on the soldiers last evening.

In this connection, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Corona In-charge, Dugadda block said that 84 soldiers were tested for covid antigen, out of which 30 soldiers have been confirmed with corona virus. It was said that these soldiers have been quarantined in separate rooms in the school itself.

On the other hand, 2915 new positives have been found in the state in the last 24 hours. Three corona patients have died due to this. Corona has also knocked into raj bhavan. The Raj Bhavan Secretariat has issued a written order confirming this and stating that Raj Bhavan will remain closed on January 13 and 14 to monitor all the offices of Raj Bhavan.
