Ahmadabad: Normal life has been disrupted in Gujarat due to torrential rains. Along with the common people, animals and birds are also reeling under this natural calamity, due to heavy rains and floods, the animal shelter home in Navsari has been flooded with water. More than 1,200 animals and birds are completely submerged in water. 42 animals have lost their lives, mostly cows. The animal shelter home has been filled with up to 15 feet of water.

Anil Dave, a 78-year-old doctor and manager of the shelter home, has not agreed to leave the shelter home even after being submerged in water. Dr Dave says that these animals and birds are his families and he will not leave them under any circumstances. Let us know that the Bhagwan Mahavir World Trust Animal Shelter Home in Navsari is built on 24 acres. But due to heavy rains, it is completely submerged in water. There are more than 1200 animals and birds, which are submerged in water. Of these, 42 animals have lost their lives. It is being told that this figure may also increase. Inside the shelter home, the labourer's husband and wife and their 3-year-old child were also trapped for more than 36 hours. But they were later rescued.  

In view of the suffering of animals in the animal shelter home, many animal lovers have come forward to help. He is providing fodder for animal shelter homes. Along with this, a JCB has also been arranged, so those dead animals can be buried by digging a big pit. At the same time, water pumps are being arranged to drain out the flood water.
