Deoghar: A major accident happened in Jharkhand's highest ropeway on Sunday evening. Two people died and 8 people were injured when the trolleys of Trikoot Ropeway collided with each other. In this accident, about 48 people are still trapped in the ropeway. NDRF team is running rescue operation to rescue people. The same people stuck in the air are being sent food and water through drones by the administration. Since Sunday evening, 48 people are trapped in the trolleys. Rescue operation is now being carried out with two MI-17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force to rescue the trapped people.

The NDRF team is continuously running the rescue operation to rescue the trapped persons, in which the help of helicopter is also being taken. However, due to the strong wind of the helicopter, the trolleys start moving, making it difficult to rescue the stranded persons. Top officials of Deoghar district administration have also reached the spot and are trying to evacuate the people at the earliest. In fact, on the occasion of Ram Navami on Sunday, hundreds of people had come here to visit and they were riding on the ropeway. Suddenly the trolleys of the ropeway collided with each other causing this accident.

Regarding the same incident, a tourist told that the accident happened when one trolley was climbing up and the other trolley was coming down, due to which both the trolleys came in contact with each other due to which they collided. At present, some injured persons have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to the news, after the collision of two trolleys, other trolleys also moved out of their place (displace) due to which they also went and hit the stone. At the same time, after the accident, District Collector of Deoghar Manjunath Bhaijantri told that the ropeway service has been stopped and the injured persons have been admitted to the Sadar Hospital in Deoghar for treatment.
