Good tea is not only a hot liquid to drink. It is a drink that is immersed in romance and ritual, and its history is filled with everything: from a quiet ceremonial tradition to colonial imperialism, the transformation of the Boston harbor into a giant kettle (not suitable for drinking). Somewhere between these extremes, there is a cup of tea that mere mortals can enjoy. As you know, tea was invented many thousands of years ago in China, it was from there that the tradition of brewing herbs spread throughout the world. The cold season is just right for long tea drinking in a warm company. Today I will tell you five ways to brew delicious and healthy tea with mint. Mint brings with it freshness and coolness, distributes light flavors to the drinks.

1. Moroccan tea with mint (1 serving) 

Ingredients:
 

  • Mint 1 branch
  • cinnamon 1 stick
  • Anise 1 pc.
  • 1/8 lime
  • black tea 1 tsp.
  • boiling water 200 ml
  • cane sugar to taste


Preparation: Blow a high heat-resistant glass with boiling water and put anise and cinnamon in it. Add a large sprig of fresh mint. put black tea in a glass, pour spices with boiling water. At the last moment, put a slice of lime. Let the tea stand for one minute. Serve tea to the table! 

2. Tea with cranberries and mint (2 servings) 

Ingredients:
 

  • mint leaves 2 tbsp. l
  • black tea 3 tbsp. l
  • cranberries 100 g
  • honey 2 tbsp. l
  • water 500 ml.


Method of preparation: In the teapot, put the brew, mint leaves, pour in boiling water and leave for 10 minutes. Wash cranberries, wipe them through a sieve, or simply crush them in a bowl. Mix the cranberries with honey. Dissolve the honey-berry mixture in the tea and let it stand for another 5 minutes under the lid closed, then pour into cups and serve to the table. By the way, this tea can be prepared in the summer, and served with ice cubes, because it is very refreshing and removes swelling. 

3. Tea with mint and dried fruits (4 servings) 

Ingredients:
 

  • Mint 4 sprigs.
  • black tea 3 tbsp. l
  • dried apricots 4 pcs.
  • prunes 4 pcs.
  • Raisin 20 g
  • water 800 ml.
  • lemon 4 slices

Preparation: Boil water. In the teapot, put the tea leaves and dried fruits, let it brew, wrapped in a towel. In high heat-resistant glasses, put a sprig of mint and lemon slices, cover with tea and serve. If you do not have enough sweetness from dried fruits, add honey to taste. 

4. Tea with mint and apples (2 servings) 

Ingredients:

 

  • mint leaves 1/2 cup
  • black tea 2 tbsp. l
  • boiling water 500 ml.
  • apple juice 50 ml.
  • lime 1/2 piece
  • apple 1 pc
  • sugar 2 tsp.


Method of preparation: Pour water and apple juice into the pan, bring almost to the boil. Cut the apple into slices in the teapot, put lime slices, mint and tea leaves, add sugar to taste. Pour the contents of boiling water and let it brew. Pour into cups and serve.  

5. Tea with mint and sea buckthorn (2 servings) 

Ingredients:

  • sea ​​buckthorn berries 200 g. 
  • Honey 2 tbsp. l 
  • boiled water 0.5 liters. 
  • black tea 2 tbsp. l 
  • Mint 3 sprigs 


Preparation:  First of all, prepare the sea buckthorn berries, rinse them. Divide the sea buckthorn equally. Crush one part to a homogeneous mass and place it in the teapot, add the tea leaves. Put the remaining berries and mint leaves, add honey and pour all the boiling water. Wrap the kettle with a towel and let the tea infuser. Pour the tea into cups and let stand.
