Hathras: The havoc of desi liquor has been witnessed once again in Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. Five people were killed while six others are said to be critical after consuming desi liquor in Nagla Singhi village under Hathras. People in critical condition are undergoing treatment at the hospital. At present, police have seized the bodies of all 5 persons and sent them for postmortem.

In fact, on the evening of April 26 in Nagla Singhi village, some people worshipped their total goddess. It is customary that people offer liquor to the Kul Devi in the temple and then accept it as prasad. People had purchased 20 quarters of desi liquor from the village itself and consumed the goddess. Drinking the same liquor worsened the health of the people. All the people were admitted to the hospital in Anan Phanan, out of which 5 people died while 6 were in critical condition.

The death of five people has created a hue and cry in his family. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and sent the bodies for postmortem. According to police, the cause of death is not yet clear, something can be said only after the post mortem report is received.
