Gaya: In a village of Mohanpur in Gaya district of Bihar, an incident of gang-rape has been carried out with a minor going to attend a marriage function. The incident was carried out on the late night of 19 April. A day later, on April 20, the family members filed a case in the women's police station.

In the incident, City SP Rakesh Kumar said that on the late night of 19 April, 5 persons picked up the minor girl and carried out the incident of gang-rape with her. The minor was going to attend a marriage function. In this incident, on the basis of the application filed by the victim and her family members, a complaint was lodged in the Mahila Police Station and 5 people were made criminals.

Seeing the seriousness of the same matter, senior SP Harpreet Kaur had given the responsibility of investigation in the case to the women station in-charge Ravi Ranjana Kumari. The lady police station took quick action and arrested the culprits of the incident Vinod Manjhi, Prakash Manjhi and Rahul Manjhi. Police said that Vikas Kumar Manjhi, Prakash Kumar Manjhi have also been made criminals in the incident. As of now, they have not been arrested. All the criminals are residents of Ladu village of Mohanpur police station.
