The thought of little humans inside a pregnant woman is cute. But it’s not what it looks like. Pregnant females have a hard time with a lot of things. One of them is trying to get some sleep at night. Some are lucky but most aren’t. Here are a few common problems a pregnant woman faces while trying to sleep.
If indigestion (blame the pregnancy hormones!) is keeping you awake, try preventing it by not eating within two hours of bedtime and avoiding spicy foods.
Usually in the first and third trimesters. In the third trimester, your growing uterus flattens your bladder, increasing your urge to pee again and again.
Babies in the womb love to move when mom is still. When sleeping while pregnant, your baby awakens, stretches, and wakes you with all the wonderful movements they’re learning.
Some pregnancy sleep struggles come from just not being able to find a comfortable position to sleep in. You cannot sleep on your sides or lie on your back. It’s confusing and uncomfortable.
Sleeping while pregnant tends to produce dreams that can be more intense, vivid, disturbing, and bizarre than your non-pregnant dreams.
